Privacy Policy
Draft — pre-launch review required. This page describes planned policies for an early-stage product. Details must be checked against actual operations and applicable law before paid launch.
Scope
This draft policy covers MELAPORA accounts, contact-management features, messages, enquiries and the website. Last updated: 29 October 2026.
Personal information
Depending on features used, we may process account email and identity details, business profile, customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, enquiry notes, follow-up dates, consent flags and basic device/security logs. Never upload sensitive information unnecessarily.
Purposes
We use information to provide sign-in, store and organise business enquiries, prepare message drafts, prevent abuse, provide support and maintain security. Payment data, once payments are enabled, would be handled by the payment provider; we should store only necessary transaction references and status.
Your customers’ information
Business users must have an appropriate lawful basis and give required notices before uploading customer data or sending promotions. The business decides which contacts and follow-ups to manage. A contact being uploaded is not consent to marketing.
Service providers and locations
Authentication and database services are planned through Supabase; public hosting through Cloudflare; Google may provide sign-in; Razorpay is the proposed payment processor. Actual processing and international transfers depend on the providers and configuration. Do not claim all data stays in India merely because the database is in Mumbai.
Sharing and safety
We do not intend to sell customer contact lists. Information may be shared with contracted service providers for service delivery and when legally required. Access controls, minimisation and account-specific permissions are part of the design; further production security testing is needed.
Retention and deletion
We aim to keep data only as needed to deliver the service and meet legal obligations. Production-ready self-service deletion, backups retention and deletion timelines are not yet implemented or verified. Contact us to request removal; we will explain what can be deleted and what must be retained.
Rights and contact
For access, correction, consent withdrawal, deletion requests, or complaints, email followpilotai@gmail.com. We will review requests consistent with applicable law.
Children
The service is designed for businesses and adult account holders, not for use by children as account owners. Do not upload children’s information without the required authority, notices and safeguards.
Changes
We may revise this policy as the product and legal requirements evolve. Material changes will be posted here, with a new effective date.
