Acceptable Use & Messaging Policy

Lawful communications only
Do not send unsolicited bulk promotions, phishing, deceptive messages, threats or unlawful content. Do not import purchased or scraped contact lists without a lawful basis.
Consent and opt-out
Maintain evidence of any necessary permissions, distinguish service messages from marketing, give recipients a reasonable opt-out and promptly honour it.
WhatsApp and email providers
Follow the applicable platform and email provider policies. Using an external draft link does not mean MELAPORA has sent or delivered a message.
Prohibited data
Do not upload credentials, payment card data, highly sensitive records or children’s data without appropriate authority and safeguards.
Enforcement
We may suspend misuse and cooperate with legitimate legal requests, subject to applicable law.
